- What kind of projects does Drish Labs take on?
- Focused macOS apps, iOS apps, and full-stack Next.js web projects. Best fit: small-to-medium scopes where one senior builder end-to-end beats a team. Not a fit: enterprise-scale teams, long-term retainers, or non-software consulting.
- Do you sign NDAs before the first call?
- For a first exploratory call a short scope summary is usually enough. NDAs are fine before sharing anything sensitive — send yours and it will be reviewed.
- Where is Drish Labs based?
- India. Work is delivered remotely across time zones; most clients are in North America, Europe, or the APAC region. Drish Labs is a one-person studio founded in 2025 by DrisH, and there is no office and no team.
What it costs
- Do you set up the domain and hosting, or do I?
- Either way works. If you already own a domain or pay for hosting, both stay in your name and the site is built around what is there. If not, they can be bought and configured for you, billed at what they actually cost with no markup, and registered in your name so you can move them elsewhere at any time. They are yearly third-party costs and are separate from the build fee.
- Is there a monthly cost after the site launches?
- Only if you want one. A monthly care plan covers updates, backups, small changes and someone to call when something breaks. The alternative is a clean handover: you get the code and every account, and you manage it yourself. The project brief asks which you would prefer and neither answer is the wrong one.
- What does a website or app cost?
- It depends on scope, and an honest answer needs the scope first. A five-page site for a local business and a web app with accounts and payments are not the same order of magnitude. The brief at /contact/brief carries the ranges to pick from — choose the one you are working with and the reply says what is buildable inside it, or says plainly that it is not enough.
Getting a reply
- How fast do you reply to inquiries?
- Within 24–48 hours on weekdays. If the scope is a good fit the reply proposes a scoping call; if it is not, it says so directly and suggests alternatives. The same person who builds the products reads the message.
- What should I include in my message?
- For a project, use the brief at /contact/brief instead of writing it out — it asks about scope, content, domain, hosting, budget and timing in about two minutes, and answering it is what turns the reply into a scope and a price rather than another round of questions. For anything else, a short paragraph is plenty.
